Setting up Stage 1 takes about two minutes. You sign up with your work email, confirm your company, and your first Board builds itself. No import, no long setup call, no month of configuration before you see anything useful.

That was a hard rule when we built it. Sales tools tend to ask for weeks of setup before they show you a single account worth calling. By the time they're ready, the quarter's half gone.

Minute one

Go to the signup page and enter your work email.

Stage 1 uses the domain to find your firm. It shows you the company it thinks you work for, and you confirm it. If it's right, you're done with the hard part.

That's the whole form. No questions about your ideal customer, no dropdowns for industry and company size, no list upload.

Minute two

Once you confirm your company, the Brain gets to work. It reads your website to learn what your firm sells, who you sell to and how you talk about it.

From there, Stage 1 builds your first Board with accounts that fit your firm. It checks their filings and news as it goes. By the time you're looking at the screen, the accounts are ranked and the signals are already attached.

You're not looking at a blank dashboard waiting to be filled. You're looking at a ranked list of real companies with real reasons to talk.

What you'll see

The Board ranks accounts by signal strength. At the top are the accounts where the most fresh activity is stacking up. A new leader in a buying seat, a filing that names a cost program, a cluster of job posts for the problem you solve.

Each signal loses weight as it ages. By default, a signal's weight halves every 14 days, and you can tune that. So the top of the Board stays current. How Stage 1 ranks accounts on the Board covers the details.

Click into any account and you'll see why it's there. The signals, the sources and the start of the research.

What to do next

Start at the top. Pick the first account and look at what Stage 1 found.

From there, Stage 1 does 3x3 research on the account and writes a Hypothesis Opening for the economic buyer, the champion and the technical lead. Say the top account is a mid-size distributor that just named a new CFO, with a 10-Q flagging working capital. The draft for the CFO might read like this.

Saw you joined as CFO, and the last 10-Q flags working capital as a focus for the year. In the first 90 days, you'll want a clear view of inventory by location before the next board meeting. My guess is that data lives in a few systems that don't reconcile, so every answer takes a week. Is that close, or is the bigger issue something else?

You read it, change what you want, and approve it. Nothing goes out without you.

If you connect LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator, Stage 1 checks your own connections for a warm path first and drafts the ask your connector can forward. When the intro doesn't happen, you go direct, and Stage 1 sends from your own LinkedIn and email.

Make the Board yours

The first Board is a starting point. Over the first week, add the documents your team already sells with, so the Brain learns your offers in more depth. Tune the signal decay if your market moves faster or slower than the default.

The more the Brain knows about your firm, the sharper the research and drafts get.
