Stage 1

Door openers. The people who get you in the room

Name the clients, partners and former bosses who open doors for you. Stage 1 maps who each one knows at your target accounts and ranks those paths first.

Every seller has five people who'd take the call today. A client who'd vouch for the work. A partner who sits in the same steering committees. A former boss who now runs a practice of their own.

Those five are worth more than your other four thousand connections. LinkedIn can't tell them apart.

Stage 1 can now. Open Settings, then Door openers, and start typing a name. Your 1st-degree connections come up with their photo and headline. Pick one, tag them as a client, a partner, a former boss or someone who knows you well, and say how close you are.

Then Stage 1 goes to work. It reads their work history and checks it against every buyer on your accounts. It tags the mutual connections LinkedIn already found. If your former boss spent three years at the same bank as the CIO you want, that path shows up under the CIO with a gold star and the words Door opener.

And it ranks first. A path through someone who'd vouch for you beats a path through someone you met at a conference in 2019. Stage 1 knows the difference now.

The map refreshes every week. New accounts land, people change jobs, and the people who open doors for you keep opening new ones.

Start with three clients who'd pick up the phone. That's the list.
