Stage 1

No reply gets missed

Stage 1 now reads your LinkedIn inbox every ten minutes and matches each answer to the thread it was sent in, so an intro yes always reaches the Desk.

An intro yes is the most valuable message in your inbox. Somebody you know just agreed to vouch for you. It can't sit in LinkedIn while Stage 1 shows nothing.

That happened this week. A connector answered an intro ask on LinkedIn, and the Desk stayed empty. The answer came from a member id Stage 1 had never stored, so it didn't know who was talking.

Two fixes went out the same day.

Stage 1 now keeps the LinkedIn thread every message goes out in. When an answer comes back in that thread, it lands on the right intro, whoever LinkedIn says sent it.

And Stage 1 no longer waits to be told a reply arrived. Every ten minutes it reads your LinkedIn inbox for anything new from the people it wrote to, and anything it finds goes through the same matching. The Desk has a Check LinkedIn for replies button for when you can't wait ten minutes.

The answer shows on the Desk with your next move drafted. For an intro yes, that's the forwardable note for your connector to send.

A reply that sits for two days costs more than one that never came. Now none of them sit.
