Lots of sellers sign up with a personal address and sell from a work one. Stage 1 keeps the two apart.

Two different things

Your login is how you get into Stage 1. Your sending mailbox is where your emails go out from. They don't have to match.

Under Settings, Connections, the Email row has two buttons, Connect Gmail and Connect Outlook. Each opens only that provider's sign-in. Gmail covers Google Workspace. Outlook covers Microsoft 365. Sign in with the mailbox you sell from.

See what's connected

Once it's connected, the row says Sending from, followed by the address. LinkedIn says Connected as, followed by your name. No guessing which account is live.

Switch mailboxes

Changed jobs, or connected the wrong one? Use a different mailbox starts a fresh sign-in. The old mailbox is disconnected and stops syncing. Reconnect is still there for the same mailbox when a sign-in expires.

When your company says no

Some companies block outside tools from connecting to work email. That's their call, and Stage 1 doesn't try to get around it. Ask IT to approve it for your mailbox alone, or run on LinkedIn, where invite notes and InMail carry the first message.

Why it matters

Your buyer should see one name and one company, every time. Sending from your real work address keeps your story straight, and replies land where you already read your mail and on the Desk.

For safe sending limits, see daily limits that keep your LinkedIn safe. For the LinkedIn side, see InMail when the invite sits.

See which of your accounts are moving.
