Most sales tools ask you to trust them before they show you anything. Connect your accounts, import a list, wait a week. Only then do you find out whether the thing works the way you sell.
Stage 1 has a full example workspace instead. Look around, click everything, then clear it and start with your own company.
What's in it
The example belongs to a made-up firm, Halyard Systems, that sells cloud data-platform modernization to mid-market companies. Every account in it is invented. Brightwater Logistics, Pinecrest Mutual Insurance, Northfield Robotics and the rest. So is every person.
It's not a screenshot. It's a working Board. Accounts ranked by signal strength, each with its signals, the buying committee and the research. Warm paths through people the example seller knows, with strengths you can change. Made-up work histories and a past-client list, so you can see Stage 1 spot a former buyer or a colleague. A Brain, scoring rules and plays to open and read.
Make time pass
Approve an account and Stage 1 threads the committee and drafts every first message, the same way it would for real. Then tap Advance a day.
The clock jumps forward, whatever is due goes out, and the fictional prospects write back. Replies land on the Desk, labeled, with your next move already drafted. Some are interested. Some say not now. One points you to a colleague. A connector agrees to an introduction, or says they'd rather you go direct.
Nothing is sent to anyone. The example workspace never sends.
You're looking at example data. Everything in it is made up.
In the app, that banner sits at the top of the Board the whole time, so nobody mistakes it for the real thing.
Clear it in one click
When you're ready, tap Start with my company on that banner.
Stage 1 clears the accounts, people, signals, plays and the example Brain. It keeps what's yours. Your team, your settings, your connections and your opt-outs stay where they are. Then it asks you to confirm the company and website it guessed from your email, and starts building your first Board. That part takes about two minutes, covered in your first Board in two minutes.
Approving accounts in the example doesn't count against your trial. The free trial's 10 approvals are for your own accounts.
If you just want a look without an account, there's a version of the example on the Stage 1 site. The setup screen links to it too, as look around with example data.
Why it matters for services
Services founders and sales leaders are skeptical of tools, and they should be. Most were built for selling software in volume. You want to see whether the research reads like a person wrote it, whether the warm paths make sense, whether the drafts sound like you or like a template. Why most sales tech fails in services is the longer version of that.
The example answers those questions in ten minutes, on accounts that can't embarrass you. For the full tour of what you're looking at, start with introducing Stage 1.
Click around, break things, advance the clock. Then clear it and put your own accounts on the Board.
