Stage 1

More than one workspace on one login

One Stage 1 login can hold several workspaces, each with its own Brain, accounts and plays. Switch between them from the menu at the top.

Plenty of services firms sell under more than one name. An acquired brand that kept its own website. A second practice that sells to a different buyer. Or you're a fractional sales leader running pipeline for two or three firms at once.

One Brain can't speak for all of them. So one Stage 1 login can now hold several workspaces, and you move between them in two clicks.

What a workspace holds

Each workspace is its own Stage 1. Its own Brain, read from its own website. Its own accounts, plays, Board and Desk. Its own team and its own plan.

Nothing crosses over. A case study from one brand never shows up in a message written for the other, and an account you passed on in one workspace is still fair game in the next.

Adding one

Tap the workspace name at the top of the menu. A list opens with every workspace you belong to, a check mark on the one you're in, and a New workspace box at the bottom.

Type the new firm's website and tap Create and set up. Stage 1 names the workspace from the address and switches you into it. You confirm the company, Stage 1 reads its site, and the Board starts filling the same way it did the first time. That part is covered in your first Board in two minutes.

A login can hold up to 10 workspaces.

Switching

Open the same menu and pick the workspace you want. You land on its Board. When you sign in, Stage 1 opens the first workspace on your list.

Joining someone else's

If another firm invites you and your email already has a Stage 1 login, you don't need a second account. Open the invite, enter your existing password, and their workspace joins your list. Inviting people is something only a workspace owner does, under Settings, Team.

This is the fractional setup. One login, a workspace for each client, each with its own Brain and its own numbers.

How billing works

Plans are priced per workspace, not per seat. Starter is one seat, and Team and Partner include up to five. A new workspace starts on the plan and trial end date of the workspace you created it from. Details are on the pricing page.

A second workspace or a second website

Not every second brand needs its own workspace. The test is the buyer.

If the second brand sells to the same buyers, keep one workspace and add its site to the Brain. Go to Brain, Sources and use Add another website. Its pages join the same Brain, and every message can draw on both.

If it sells to different buyers, give it its own workspace. A firm that sells data platforms to CFOs and a firm that sells clinical systems to hospital CIOs need different research, different hypotheses and different proof. One Brain trying to hold both writes worse messages for each. For what the Brain does with what it reads, see inside the Brain.

Why it matters for a services sale

A services buyer is buying a team they trust. The first message has to sound like the firm that will do the work, cite that firm's proof, and speak to a problem that firm solves. Mix two firms in one Brain and you get a message that sounds like neither.

Separate workspaces keep each story straight. And for anyone running pipeline across firms, it's the difference between one login and a stack of passwords. If that's your role, what a fractional CRO should fix first is a good place to start.

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. You can start your trial and add a second workspace whenever you need one.

See which of your accounts are moving.

Stage 1 reads your site, finds accounts that fit and checks their filings and news. Your first Board in about two minutes. Free for 14 days, no credit card.
