Approve an account before anyone is found
You can approve an account in Stage 1 before it has found anyone there. The buying committee is threaded on the next research run after people turn up.

Some of the best accounts on your Board show up before Stage 1 knows who works there. A filing or a headline names the company, not a person. You shouldn't have to wait to say yes.
Approve now, people later
Press Approve on an account with no people yet and Stage 1 looks for them first. With LinkedIn connected, it searches the company for up to three people in your buyer titles. If it finds them, threading starts as normal.
If it still finds no one, or LinkedIn isn't connected yet, the account is approved anyway and marked as waiting on people. Approving never dead-ends. The message after you press it says which case you're in.
Approved. Connect LinkedIn and Stage 1 finds the buying committee and drafts the first messages.
How people turn up
There are a few ways. You connect LinkedIn, and the next run searches the company for your buyer titles. A signal names someone, like a post from a director at the account, or one of your own connections joining it. Or you add a person yourself under the account with a LinkedIn link, a name and a title.
How the threads start
Every research run checks approved accounts that are waiting. Once one has people, Stage 1 threads them the same way it would have on the day you approved. It picks the door for each person, checks for a warm path, drafts the openers and schedules the steps. With one contact per company on, the best door goes first and the rest wait.
That happens on the next of the four daily runs, or right away if you press Run plays now on the Board.
What you see in the meantime
The account leaves the review list once it's approved, with nothing queued yet. It shows on your Watchlist as In motion. On a free trial, it counts toward your 10 approvals like any other.
Why it matters for a services sale
Timing beats completeness. A carve-out filing or a capability center announcement often names the company weeks before you can see who owns the work. If you hold the approval until the org chart fills in, the account sits on your Board and you forget why you liked it.
Approving locks in the decision. Stage 1 does the follow-through when the people appear.
The human call stays where it belongs. You still approve every account, and with review on, every message waits for you on the Desk before it goes. See owning every send and sell to the committee, not the contact.
Where to find it
Approve sits at the bottom of every account on the Board. Press it, or press A. The account doesn't need anyone on it first.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. Plans are on the pricing page.
